AMSOIL INC. of Superior, WI announces the introduction of a new premium, high efficiency air filter utilizing nanofiber technology with a four year/100,000 mile service life guarantee and superior air flow. Positioning itself to be a world class leader in filtration, the AMSOIL Ea Filter is incomparable in both design and performance.
In lab testing Ea media with nanofibers removed 5 times more dust than the average cellulose filter and 50 times more dust than the average wet gauze media. Ea media also has 3 times the airflow of cellulose filters and is equal to wet gauze filters at the very low 0.5 inches of restriction. The proprietary Ea media held 15 times more dust than the average wet gauze type filter. In short, AMSOIL Ea Filters offer superior performance in the three critical performance benchmarks of efficiency, flow and capacity.

Remove any old auto air filters and install the pre-oiled AMSOIL Lifetime foam automotive air filters. Under normal service, expect 1 year or 25,000 miles before a cleaning is needed. Under severe service (very dusty conditions) six months or 12,500 miles is a good bet.
At each cleaning, wash the filter well with soap and water. Once clean, allow the filter to air dry. You can squeeze some water out, but "press" it, don't try and twist it or anything. Once most of the water is out, let it air dry until it is completely dry - not damp at all. Then, re-oil it with AMSOIL foam filter tack oil.
Many people ask if they can use some other type of oil. The answer is, not if you want AMSOIL to honor their warranty. Other oils will eventually drip out of the filter and into your air intake. This is not good for the filter or the engine. AMSOIL tack oil is designed not to drip at all. Besides, it's only about $3.50 per bottle, and one bottle will do 2 to 4 washings. Cheap insurance.
Although pricing may fluctuate and you may find a lower price listed in our online shopping area, you can expect to pay about $20 to $40 per filter depending upon your application. Some filters may be more than that (especially if you need a special order filter), but 95% of AMSOIL's filters are less than $40. Remember, this is a lifetime filter. If it ever wears out or begins to deteriorate (and you have maintained it as AMSOIL suggests), AMSOIL will replace it free of charge.
